Regular Season Round 22: Quimper - Maurienne 91-85

There was an upset when higher ranked Aix-Maurienne (13-9) lost on the road to seventeenth ranked Quimper UJAP (5-17) 91-85 on Tuesday. The hosts trailed by 4 points at the halftime before their 49-39 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Quimper UJAP forced 20 Aix-Maurienne turnovers. Quite impressive performance for American guard Adam McCoy (195-86, college: N.Texas) who helped to win the game recording 22 points. The other American import forward Nathaniel Roche (203-88, college: Belhaven) contributed with 16 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Five Quimper UJAP players scored in double figures. American Wilbert Brown (199-84, college: Niagara, agency: Z.A.G. - Law Offices) replied with 31 points and 9 rebounds and American-DR Congolese power forward Bambale Osby (203-86, college: Maryland) added 17 points and 7 rebounds (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field) in the effort for Aix-Maurienne. Quimper UJAP maintains seventeenth position with 5-17 record. Loser Aix-Maurienne keeps the fifth place with nine games lost. Quimper UJAP will face league's second-placed Limoges CSP Elite on the road in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Aix-Maurienne will play against Saint Vallier.
