LigaA top team - Obras (18-7) added another victory to their record on Wednesday. This time they beat eleventh ranked Boca Juniors (9-16) in Buenos Aires 90-85. Boca Juniors was trailing by 4 points at halftime but managed to get 1-point lead after three quarters before a 20-14 charge of Obras, which allowed them to win the game. International power forward Juan Gutierrez (205-83) fired 19 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. The former international guard Julio Mazzaro (190-79) chipped in 19 points. Obras' coach Julio Cesar Lamas used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. The former international guard Maximiliano Stanic (178-78, agency: Players Group) produced 16 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists and center Alejandro Diez (201-87) added 22 points and 6 rebounds respectively for lost side.
