We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams when 5th ranked Fabriano (7-17) lost at home to sixth ranked Anagni (8-15) 68-54 on Thursday. The guests trailed by 2 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 10-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 68-54. Anagni forced 22 Fabriano turnovers and outrebounded them 37-26 including 27 on the defensive glass. Naturalized Argentinian center Diego Corral (205-86, agency: Players Group) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 15 rebounds. The former international guard Riccardo Santolamazza (195-83) contributed with 7 points, 7 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals for the winners. Forward Alessio Iardella (187-88) replied with 15 points and 7 rebounds and power forward Luca Usberti (201-73) added 9 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Fabriano.
