LEB Silver top team - River Andorra (14-2) managed to deliver another win. This time they beat thirteenth ranked Plasencia Extremadura (3-13) 76-65. The game was mostly controlled by River Andorra. Plasencia Extremadura was better in third quarter 21-20. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Naturalized Russian center Dmitry Flis (203-84) scored 18 points and 6 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and swingman Pablo Sanchez (197-81) chipped in 11 points and 9 rebounds during the contest. The best for the losing side was guard Alex Ros (192-83) with 14 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists and Portuguese center Claudio Fonseca (206-89) scored 14 points and 6 rebounds. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. River Andorra have an impressive ten-game winning streak. River Andorra maintains first position with 14-2 record. Plasencia Extremadura at the other side stay at the bottom place with 13 games lost. River Andorra will play against Leyma Basquet (#4) in Coruna in the next round. Plasencia Extremadura will play at home against Feve Oviedo (#10) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
