Very expected game when 6th ranked KTP-Basket (14-19) lost on the road to second ranked Tampereen Pyrinto (22-10) 82-71. The hosts were ahead by 2 points but lost the second period ending it with a 3-point deficit before their 30-16 run, which allowed them to win the game. Tampereen Pyrinto forced 19 KTP-Basket turnovers. 24 personal fouls committed by KTP-Basket helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The best player for the winners was American forward Damon Williams (201-73, college: Colorado St.-Pueblo) who scored 18 points and 9 rebounds. His fellow American import guard Kenneth Lowe (192-80, college: Purdue) chipped in 24 points.
