The game in Roche was also quite interesting. 6th ranked Blois (14-9) played at the court of seventh ranked Roche (15-8). Roche managed to secure a 7-point victory 71-64 on Friday. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning the initial quarter 20-14. But Blois won second period 19-16. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The game was decided in the last minutes when Roche won last quarter 17-12. It was a great evening for forward Aurelien Toto N'Kote (194-79) who led his team to a victory scoring 15 points and 5 assists (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). Guard Benjamin Thomas (181-82) helped adding 12 points. Finnish forward Ville Kaunisto (204-82) responded with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 14 rebounds and point guard Pierre Brochard (185-80) scored 19 points. Roche moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Cognac. Loser Blois dropped to the seventh position with nine games lost. Roche will meet higher ranked Orchesien BC (#3) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Blois will play against CFBB (#18) in Paris and hope to secure a win.
