There was a small surprise when eighth ranked Adelaide 36ers (7-16) defeated on the road 6th ranked Melbourne Tigers (10-14) 92-83 on Saturday. The guests trailed by 3 points after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 1-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 92-83. Adelaide 36ers made 24-of-28 free shots (85.7 percent) during the game. They shot the lights out from three sinking 14 long-distance shots on high 58.3 percentage. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Adelaide 36ers made 7 blocks.
