Very important is a home loss of PGE Turow (0-1) against Zastal ZG (1-1) on Saturday night. Host PGE Turow was defeated by Zastal ZG in Zgorzelec 91-73. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of PGE Turow. The game was mostly controlled by Zastal ZG. PGE Turow managed to win fourth quarter 20-19. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded PGE Turow 35-22 including 22 on the defensive glass. American guard David Jackson (193-86, college: W.Illinois) came up with 19 points and 4 assists and the former international guard Michal Chylinski (199-86, agency: Interperformances) added 14 points respectively for PGE Turow in the defeat. PGE Turow's coach Jacek Winnicki rotated eleven players seeing no chance for a win. It was the only win of guest team this round and in all other games host teams recorded victories. Zastal ZG left bottom position moving up to third place in Group A, which they share with Trefl Sopot. Loser PGE Turow still closes the standings with one game lost. They share the position with Anwil. Zastal ZG will meet at home league's leader Asseco Prokom in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. PGE Turow will play against the league's second-placed Energa Czarni (#2) in Slupsk.
