No shocking result in a game when second ranked Ourense (12-5) beat on the road 11th ranked Tenerife (4-13) 85-80 on Saturday. The guests trailed by 24 points after first quarter, but they rallied back and won the game by 5 points. Ourense made 22-of-28 free shots (78.6 percent) during the game. Guard Alberto Miguel (188-77) notched 19 points and 5 rebounds to lead the effort and point guard Jorge Fernandez (180-89) supported him with 10 points and 4 assists. Even 20 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists by point guard Ignacio Guigou (186-91) did not help to save the game for Tenerife. American forward Sammy Monroe (198-85, college: Newberry, agency: Prossin Sports Management) added 15 points and 8 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches allowed to play bench players in such tough game. Ourense have a solid four-game winning streak.
