Sixth-ranked Bejjeh (7-11) made lots of trouble for second ranked Champville (17-1) on Saturday. The visitors from Dik El Mehdi managed to secure only three-point victory 83-80. However their fans expected much easier game. Bejjeh was tied after three quarters but could not keep up in the last quarter eventually losing the game. The best player for the winners was international power forward Samuel Hoskin (206-79, college: De Paul, agency: Higher Vision Sports) who had a double-double by scoring 23 points and 14 rebounds. The former international forward Fadi Khatib (199-79, agency: Pro Management Agency) chipped in 24 points and 7 rebounds. International forward Nadim Souaid (192-86) produced 29 points and 7 rebounds and American center Harold Jamison (204-76, college: Clemson) added 14 points and 13 rebounds respectively for the hosts. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Champville keeps a position of league leader, which they share with Al Riyadi. Bejjeh at the other side keeps the sixth place with 11 games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
