An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Charlottetown, PEI. Third ranked Panthers faced 4th placed Capers. Host Panthers (13-7) defeated guests from Sydney, NS (11-9) 96-79. The game was mostly controlled by Panthers. Capers was better in third quarter 30-22. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Sudanese forward Manock Lual (198-89) nailed 24 points, 7 rebounds, 5 assists and 7 steals for the winning side and forward Jermaine Duke (198) accounted for 17 points, 14 rebounds and 4 blocks. Five Panthers players scored in double figures. American guard Jimmy Dorsey (188) came up with 27 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists and Arild Geugjes added 13 points and 7 rebounds respectively for Capers in the defeat. Panthers maintains third place with 13-7 record having just three points less than leader Lakehead which they share with defeated Capers. Capers at the other side dropped to the third position with nine games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
