The game with biggest result difference took place in Beirut. Local Al Riyadi (17-1) outscored 7th ranked Al Moutahed (6-12) 112-84. Al Moutahed was tied at the half but could not keep up in last two quarters eventually losing the game. Al Riyadi players were unselfish on offense dishing 28 assists. American guard Dewarick Spencer (193-82, college: Arkansas St., agency: Higher Vision Sports) notched 46 points (!!!) (was perfect 8-for-8 from the free throw line) to lead the effort and Egyptian forward Ahmad Ismail (205-76) supported him with 21 points, 14 rebounds and 7 assists. Even 22 points, 8 assists and 4 steals by American guard Austin Johnson (191-87, college: Oklahoma) did not help to save the game for Al Moutahed. The former international power forward Bassel Bawji (203-89, college: Tulsa, agency: Pro Management Agency) added 16 points and 10 rebounds for the guests. Five Al Moutahed players scored in double figures. Al Riyadi have an impressive 12-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 17-1 record, which they share with Champville. Al Moutahed lost fifth consecutive game. They keep the seventh place with 12 games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
