There was a small surprise when thirteenth ranked Mickiewicz (6-15) beat 10th ranked MKS Skierniew. (8-13) in Katowice 86-72 on Saturday. The hosts trailed by 4 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 6-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 86-72. Mickiewicz made 19-of-25 free shots (76.0 percent) during the game. They also forced 21 MKS Skierniew. turnovers and had a 35-24 advantage in offensive rebounds. Mickiewicz looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. It was a good game for forward Grzegorz Zadecki (193-83) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 30 points, 12 rebounds and 5 assists. Guard Michal Moralewicz (184-91) contributed with 12 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists for the winners. Mickiewicz's coach Sebastian Bregula used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Forward Radoslaw Jarosz (196-83) answered with 14 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists and Przemyslaw Tradecki added 17 points in the effort for MKS Skierniew.Four Mickiewicz and five MKS Skierniew. players scored in double figures.
