Fourth ranked Okapi Aalstar (12-7) crushed at home 9th ranked VOO Verviers-Pepinster (3-16) by 36 points 94-58, which is the biggest margin this round on Saturday night. The game without a history. Okapi Aalstar led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Okapi Aalstar outrebounded VOO Verviers-Pepinster 47-29 including a 37-21 advantage in defensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was American guard Stefon Jackson (196-85, college: UTEP) who had a double-double by scoring 17 points and 10 rebounds. His fellow American import forward Christopher Copeland (203-84, college: Colorado) chipped in 22 points and 6 rebounds. Four Okapi Aalstar players scored in double figures. Okapi Aalstar's coach Brad Dean felt very confident that he used 11 players and allowed the starting five to rest. At the other side the best for losing team was American forward Bingo Merriex (204-80, college: TCU) who recorded a double-double by scoring 16 points and 10 rebounds and international forward Maxime De Zeeuw (205-87) added 17 points and 7 rebounds respectively. Okapi Aalstar moved-up to third place. Loser VOO Verviers-Pepinster stay at the bottom position with 16 games lost.
