There was a small surprise when thirteenth ranked MOSiR Krosno (5-18) smashed at home 11th ranked AZS Szczecin (9-12) 84-65 on Saturday. The game without a history. MOSiR Krosno led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to AZS Szczecin's 26. MOSiR Krosno forced 29 AZS Szczecin turnovers. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when MOSiR Krosno made 8 blocks. It was a great evening for forward Slawomir Nowak (198-77) who led his team to a victory scoring 19 points and 8 rebounds. Guard Piotr Pluta (192-81, agency: Court Side) helped adding 16 points and 5 rebounds. Five MOSiR Krosno players scored in double figures.
