Tur Bielsk Pdl. (#3) forced the game against UMKS Kielce (#2) into an overtime, but lost by one point 83-84 on Saturday night. The game took place in Bielsk Podlaski. But the guests from Kielce were better at the end. It ended at the same time the five-game winning streak of Tur Bielsk Pdl.. The guests trailed by 4 points after three quarters before their 27-23 charge, which allowed them to tie the game at the end of regular time and get a 1-point victory in overtime. It was a great shooting night for UMKS Kielce especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 56.3 percentage. It was a good game for forward Lukasz Fafara (194-84) who saved his team from a defeat with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 10 rebounds. Guard Artur Busz (194-88) contributed with 19 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Forward Arkadiusz Zabielski (195-84) answered with 26 points and 8 rebounds and guard Mariusz Rapucha (189-90) added 24 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Tur Bielsk Pdl.Five UMKS Kielce and four Tur Bielsk Pdl. players scored in double figures. UMKS Kielce have a solid series of three victories in a row. They maintain second place in Group C with 14-5 record having six points less than leader Slask II W. Tur Bielsk Pdl. at the other side keeps the third position with seven games lost. UMKS Kielce will face MKS Limbach (#5) in Limanowa in the next round. Tur Bielsk Pdl. will play on the road against UKS Siemaszka in Piekary.
