Regular Season Round 19: Sanda - Solna Branten 55-70

There was no surprise in Huskvarna where 9th ranked Sanda Basket (5-14) was defeated by seventh ranked Solna Branten (7-11) 70-55. The game without a history. Solna Branten led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Worth to mention a great performance of guard Niklas Larsson (196-94) who helped to win the game recording 9 points and 6 rebounds. Guard Joakim Svensson (188-87) contributed with 14 points for the winners. Forward Johan Ganstrand (192-93) answered with 10 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists and guard Alexander Russom (191-95) added 11 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Sanda Basket. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. Solna Branten maintains seventh place in South with 7-11 record. Sanda Basket at the other side dropped to the tenth position with 14 games lost. Solna Branten's next round opponent will be higher ranked Hoganas (#3) at home and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Sanda Basket will play against Fryshuset (#9) in Stockholm and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
