Leader Prievidza delivered the twentieth first victory. This time they crushed 6th ranked Svit (15-15) 103-67. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Svit. The game without a history. Prievidza led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to Svit's 34. Prievidza forced 23 Svit turnovers and outrebounded them 47-26 including a 26-14 advantage in defensive rebounds. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 25 assists comparing to just 8 passes made by Svit's players. Worth to mention a great performance of American guard David Godbold (196-85, college: Oklahoma, agency: Scorers 1st Sportmanagement) who helped to win the game recording 35 points (!!!), 6 rebounds and 4 assists. British power forward Liam Potter (213-86, college: Sacred Heart) contributed with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 13 rebounds for the winners. Four Prievidza players scored in double figures. American guard Julian Mascoll (193-84) replied with 20 points and 5 rebounds and his fellow American import forward Kenneth Henderson (201-82, college: Texas Arlington) added 18 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Svit. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Prievidza maintains first position with 21-9 record. Svit at the other side keeps the sixth place with 15 games lost. Prievidza will play against Vahostav-Zilina (#8) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Svit will play against the league's second-placed Nitra in Nitra and hopes to get back on the winning track.
