There was an upset when higher ranked GTK Gliwice (11-10) was smashed by eleventh ranked MCKiS Jaworz. (7-14) in Jaworzno 88-64 on Saturday. The game without a history. MCKiS Jaworz. led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. MCKiS Jaworz. forced 23 GTK Gliwice turnovers. It was a great shooting night for MCKiS Jaworz. especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 57.9 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists comparing to just 10 passes made by GTK Gliwice's players. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when MCKiS Jaworz. made 10 blocks. It was a good game for swingman Grzegorz Remin (192-82) who led his team to a victory with 26 points, 7 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field). Swingman Marcin Sroda (196-83) contributed with 19 points and 5 assists for the winners. Four MCKiS Jaworz. players scored in double figures.
