The game between closely ranked teams ended with 6th ranked Udine's (11-9) road loss to fifth ranked Muggia (14-6) 56-70 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by Muggia. Udine was better in fourth quarter 18-15. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Muggia had a 31-19 advantage in offensive rebounds. Udine was plagued by 30 personal fouls down the stretch. Guard Jessica Cergol (180-85) orchestrated the victory by scoring 23 points and 4 steals. Slovenian center Ajda Gabrovsek (190-84) contributed with 5 points and 18 rebounds for the winners. Four Muggia players scored in double figures.
