Fifth ranked Gold Coast Blaze (13-9) beat at home 9th ranked Wollongong Hawks (6-17) by 13 points 85-72, which is the biggest margin this round on Sunday night. The hosts trailed by 5 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 6-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 85-72. Gold Coast Blaze dominated down low during the game scoring 62 of its points in the paint compared to Wollongong Hawks' 40.
