Regular Season Round 27: Latina Basket - Napoli 73-58

Very important is a road loss of first ranked Napoli (21-5) against fourth ranked Latina Basket (12-13) on Sunday night. Visiting Napoli was defeated by Latina Basket in Latina 73-58. It ended at the same time the 11-game winning streak of Napoli. The game was mostly controlled by Latina Basket. Napoli was better in third quarter 19-15. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. It was a great evening for guard Tommaso Milani (190-88) who led his team to a victory scoring 17 points and 5 assists. The former international point guard Riccardo Serena (181-82) helped adding 16 points and 4 assists. The best for the losing side was center Andrea Iannilli (207-84) with 15 points and 9 rebounds and point guard Simone Lenardon (189-85) scored 17 points. Latina Basket have a solid series of three victories in a row. They moved-up to third place, which they share with Chieti. Newly promoted Napoli still keeps top position with five games lost. Latina Basket will face league's second-placed Orlandina on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Napoli will play against Matera.
