Regular Season Round 19: Srbija - Brahe Basket 88-95

We could consider it a predictable result in the game between close teams in Malmo where fifth ranked Brahe Basket (12-8) won against 4th placed Srbija (11-8) 95-88. Srbija was tied at the half but could not keep up in last two quarters eventually losing the game. They outrebounded Srbija 37-20 including a 24-13 advantage in defensive rebounds. Worth to mention a great performance of Jamaican center Hugh Robinson (202-83) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 20 points and 10 rebounds. Guard Christoffer Henriks (192-92) contributed with 22 points for the winners. Four Brahe Basket players scored in double figures. Brahe Basket's coach allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. FYR Macedonian forward Todorce Petkovski (200-80) answered with 27 points and 6 rebounds (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field) and guard Ted Cedermarker (182-79) added 22 points and 10 assists in the effort for Srbija. Brahe Basket moved-up to fourth place in South. Srbija at the other side dropped to the fifth position with eight games lost. Brahe Basket's next round opponent will be Hogsbo (#11) in Goteborg and are hoping to win another game. Srbija's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Malmo to the arena Malbas.
