Another interesting game for CA Faenza (8-9) which hosted 4th ranked Lucca (11-7). Seventh ranked CA Faenza had an easy win 74-62. The game was mostly controlled by CA Faenza. Lucca was better in second period 18-11. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. CA Faenza forced 24 Lucca turnovers. Serbian guard Marija Eric (164-83) scored 28 points, 7 assists and 6 steals to lead the charge for the winners and American forward Demauria Liles (185-88, college: Maryland) chipped in 7 points and 7 rebounds during the contest. CA Faenza will play against higher ranked Umbertide (#4) on the road in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Lucca will play against the league's second-placed Familia Schio where they are definitely not considered as a favorite in this game either.
