The game had a very big importance for second-ranked Taranto as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Taranto smashed 9th ranked Pall.Pozzuoli at home 83-60. The game was mostly controlled by Taranto. Pall.Pozzuoli managed to win third quarter 20-18. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Taranto have a solid four-game winning streak. As mentioned above they are alone now at the top position. Pall.Pozzuoli at the other side keeps the ninth place with 12 games lost. Pall.Pozzuoli will play next round against Alcamo trying to get back on the winning streak. Taranto will try to continue on its current victory against tenth ranked Priolo on the road.
