Not a big story in a game when 8th ranked Ancona (8-10) lost on the road to fourth ranked C.U.S. Chieti (13-4) 62-48 on Sunday. The game was mostly controlled by C.U.S. Chieti. Ancona was better in third quarter 19-13. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Ancona to just 5 points in second quarter. C.U.S. Chieti dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Ancona's 22. They outrebounded Ancona 38-27 including 29 on the defensive glass.
