Rather predictable result when eleventh ranked Arras (9-12) won against at home 13th ranked Lyon (5-16) 72-59. Lyon was ahead by 6 points at the halftime before a 46-27 second half run of Arras. American point guard Leilani Mitchell (165-85, college: Utah, agency: LBM Management) stepped up and scored 19 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners and Russian Nadezhda Grishaeva (195-89) chipped in 13 points and 10 rebounds. Four Arras players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was Italian swingman Marissa Coleman (185-87, college: Maryland) with 15 points and 7 rebounds and American center Krystal Thomas (195-89, college: Duke) scored 9 points and 9 rebounds. Arras moved-up to tenth place, which they share with Charleville. Lyon lost their seventh game in a row. Newly promoted team keeps the thirteenth position with 16 games lost. Arras will play against higher ranked Union Hainaut (#7) in Saint-Amand in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
