Regular Season Round 32: Boras - 08 91-71

Date: February 28, 2012
Not a big story in a game when 8th ranked 08 Stockholm (14-17) was rolled over on the road by fifth ranked Boras Basket (18-14) 91-71 on Tuesday. The game without a history. Boras Basket led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Boras Basket forced 20 08 Stockholm turnovers. Worth to mention a great performance of Lebanese-American guard Omar Krayem (185-86, college: Cal.Baptist, agency: Pro Management Agency) who helped to win the game recording 23 points and 5 assists and American forward Christopher McKnight (201-87, college: Akron) who added 20 points and 5 rebounds during the contest. Icelandic swingman Helgi Magnusson (198-82, college: Catawba) responded with 14 points and 6 rebounds and the former international center Joakim Blom (211-76, agency: Court Side) scored 14 points. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Boras Basket maintains fifth position with 18-14 record, which they share with Uppsala. Loser 08 Stockholm keeps the eighth place with 17 games lost. Boras Basket will face KFUM Jamtland (#9) on the road in the next round. 08 Stockholm will play against Solna Vikings and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
