Everything went according to plan when first ranked Hapoel Tel-Aviv (17-3) outleveled at home 4th ranked Kiryat Tivon (11-9) 86-66 on Tuesday. The game was mostly controlled by Hapoel Tel-Aviv. Kiryat Tivon was better in fourth quarter 17-14. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Hapoel Tel-Aviv dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to Kiryat Tivon's 28. Hapoel Tel-Aviv forced 20 Kiryat Tivon turnovers.
