There was a minor upset when one of their biggest challengers LF Basket (18-13) was crushed on the road by sixth ranked Uppsala Basket (18-14) 98-69 on Tuesday. The game without a history. Uppsala Basket led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Uppsala Basket forced 21 LF Basket turnovers. They shot the lights out from three sinking 12 long-distance shots on high 52.2 percentage. Worth to mention a great performance of American power forward Delvon Johnson (206-89, college: Arkansas, agency: Priority Sports) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 15 points and 12 rebounds (perfect from the field making all seven shots !!!) and Australian point guard Rhys Carter (190-84) who added 16 points and 9 assists during the contest. Five Uppsala Basket players scored in double figures. American forward Marcus Relphorde (200-88, college: Colorado) responded with 17 points and 6 rebounds and his fellow American import forward Keith Ramsey (205-87, college: Missouri, agency: Hart Sports Mngm) scored 10 points and 8 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Uppsala Basket have a solid four-game winning streak. They moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Boras. LF Basket at the other side keeps the fourth position with 13 games lost. Uppsala Basket will face higher ranked Sundsvall Dragons (#3) on the road in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. LF Basket will play against the league's second-placed Sodertalje Kings and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
