Regular Season Round 22: Kalev/Cramo - Tarvas 86-74

An interesting game for Kalev/Cramo (15-2) which hosted in Tallinn one of their biggest challengers BC Rakvere (14-7). Second ranked Kalev/Cramo managed to get a 12-point victory 86-74. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of BC Rakvere. The game was mostly controlled by Kalev/Cramo. BC Rakvere managed to win second period 22-16. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Worth to mention a great performance of international guard Gert Dorbek (194-85) who helped to win the game recording 16 points. The former international guard Tanel Sokk (184-85) contributed with 13 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Five Kalev/Cramo players scored in double figures. Latvian center Kaspars Cipruss (210-82, agency: Interperformances) replied with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 17 rebounds and center Reinar Hallik (208-84) added 19 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for BC Rakvere. Defending champion maintains second position with 15-2 record having 4 victories less than leader Tartu Ulikool. BC Rakvere at the other side keeps the third place with seven games lost. Kalev/Cramo are looking forward to face bottom-ranked Valga (#8) on the road in the next round where they are favorite. BC Rakvere will have a break next round.
