Ninth-ranked SKP Banska Bystrica (7-24) used its home court advantage to challenge fourth ranked Handlova (17-14) on Wednesday. The visitors from Handlova managed to secure only three-point victory 94-91. However their fans expected much easier game. SKP Banska Bystrica was trailing by 1 point at halftime but managed to get 2-point lead after three quarters before a 25-20 charge of Handlova, which allowed them to win the game. SKP Banska Bystrica's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Handlova maintains fourth place with 17-14 record. SKP Banska Bystrica lost eleventh consecutive game. They stay dead last with 24 lost games. Handlova will meet at home Svit (#5) in the next round. SKP Banska Bystrica will play against Levice (#7) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
