No shocking result in a game when seventh ranked Rosa Radom (14-9) beat on the road 11th ranked AZS Szczecin (9-13) 80-76 on Wednesday. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning the initial quarter 21-14. But AZS Szczecin won second period 19-18. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Rosa Radom forced 20 AZS Szczecin turnovers. It was a good game for guard Artur Donigiewicz (185-84) who led his team to a victory with 28 points and 9 rebounds. Marcin Kosinski contributed with 12 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Swingman Krzysztof Mielczarek (198-81) replied with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 14 rebounds and guard Lukasz Pacocha (182-82) added 12 points and 6 assists in the effort for AZS Szczecin. Five AZS Szczecin players scored in double figures. AZS Szczecin's coach Zbigniew Majcherek tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Rosa Radom moved-up to fourth place, which they share with MKS DG. Loser AZS Szczecin keeps the eleventh position with 13 games lost. Rosa Radom will face AZS Kutno (#8) at home in the next round. AZS Szczecin will play against Sudety in Jelenia Gora.
