There was a minor upset when 4th ranked Latina Basket (12-15) was defeated on the road by sixth ranked Anagni (10-16) 74-64 on Thursday. Latina Basket was tied after three quarters but could not keep up in the last quarter eventually losing the game. Anagni made 16-of-19 free shots (84.2 percent) during the game. Worth to mention a great performance of guard Valerio Circosta (188-87) who helped to win the game recording 12 points and 6 assists and the former international guard Riccardo Santolamazza (195-83) who added 15 points and 5 rebounds during the contest (made all of his seven free throws). At the losing side guard Tommaso Milani (190-88) responded with 13 points and naturalized Serbian forward Marko Micevic (198-89) scored 10 points. Anagni have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain sixth position with 10-16 record. Loser Latina Basket keeps the fourth place with 15 games lost. Anagni will face league's leader Napoli at home in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Latina Basket will play against the league's leader Recanati.
