There was no surprise when 6th ranked Belfius Mons-Hainaut (9-10) was defeated on the road by second ranked Spirou Charleroi (14-6) 81-63 on Friday. The hosts trailed by 8 points after first quarter, but they stormed back and won the game by 18 points. Spirou Charleroi looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. American players dominated the game. Swingman Dwayne Broyles (196-82, college: JMU, agency: Higher Vision Sports) scored 23 points to lead the charge for the winners and forward Caleb Green (203-85, college: ORU) chipped in 12 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists during the contest. Spirou Charleroi's coach Giovanni Bozzi used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the losing side guard A.J. Slaughter (191-87, college: W.Kentucky) responded with 15 points and 8 assists and forward Ahmad Nivins (206-87, college: St.Joseph's) scored 11 points and 9 rebounds.
