The game in Tallinn was also quite interesting. Fourth ranked Rapla (13-10) played at the court of 5th ranked TTU (10-11). Rapla defeated TTU 87-71 on Friday. The game was mostly controlled by Rapla. TTU managed to win second period 21-19. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Strangely TTU outrebounded Rapla 43-31 including 16 on the offensive glass. The best player for the winners was swingman Janar Soo (199-91) who scored 22 points and 6 rebounds. point guard Rait-Riivo Laane (179-93) chipped in a double-double by scoring 10 points, 6 rebounds and 11 assists. Four Rapla players scored in double figures. Rapla's coach Indrek Ruut used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American center Andrew Arnold (208-86, college: Lewis-Clark St.) produced 15 points and 9 rebounds and forward Kiur Akenparg (190-88) added 11 points and 8 rebounds respectively for the hosts. Rapla maintains fourth place with 13-10 record. TTU at the other side keeps the fifth position with 11 games lost. Rapla will meet KK Parnu (#7) on the road in the next round. TTU will play against BC Rakvere and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
