Regular Season Round 22: Kings - Tigers 61-66

The game between closely ranked teams ended with sixth ranked Melbourne Tigers' (11-15) road victory over 7th ranked Kings (9-16) 66-61 on Friday. The guests trailed by 2 points after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 6-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 66-61. Forward Lucas Walker (203-84, college: St.Mary's, CA) fired 12 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. International power forward Cameron Tragardh (209-83, college: ORU) chipped in 10 points and 6 rebounds. Melbourne Tigers' coach Trevor Gleeson used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. The former international center Julian Khazzouh (209-86) produced a double-double by scoring 11 points and 16 rebounds and swingman Ben Madgen (193-85, college: Augusta St.) added 20 points respectively for lost side. Melbourne Tigers maintains sixth position with 11-15 record. Kings at the other side keep the seventh place with 16 games lost. Melbourne Tigers will have a break next round. Kings will play on the road against Wollongong Hawks (#9) in Gwynneville and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
