Rather predictable result when seventh ranked Levice (14-18) edged at home bottom-ranked SKP Banska Bystrica (7-25) 94-92 on Saturday. The hosts were tied at the half but managed to speed up in last two quarters eventually winning the game. Worth to mention a great performance of forward Ladislav Lutovsky (201-75) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 19 points and 13 rebounds and American guard Kevin Bridgewaters (175-84, college: Chattanooga) who added 20 points and 10 assists during the contest. The best for the losing side was American forward Marcus Kitts (205-89, college: William & Mary) with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 17 rebounds and guard Richard Korner (197-90) scored 17 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. Four Levice and five SKP Banska Bystrica players scored in double figures. Newly promoted Levice maintains seventh position with 14-18 record. SKP Banska Bystrica lost twelfth consecutive game. They stay dead last with 25 lost games. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
