Div.A top team - Al Riyadi (19-1) had no problems winning another game on Saturday. This time they crushed seventh ranked Bejjeh (7-13) in Beirut 105-80. The game without a history. Al Riyadi led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to Bejjeh's 32 and made 16-of-21 free shots (76.2 percent) during the game. They outrebounded Bejjeh 45-27 including a 31-19 advantage in defensive rebounds. Al Riyadi looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of international guard Amir Saoud (188-91) who helped to win the game recording 31 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. International power forward Ali Kanaan (205-85, college: Mass.-Lowell, agency: Pro Management Agency) contributed with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 13 rebounds for the winners. Four Al Riyadi players scored in double figures. International forward Nadim Souaid (192-86) replied with 24 points and 4 assists and international forward Patrick Bou Abboud (199-87) added 18 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for Bejjeh. Al Riyadi have an impressive 14-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 19-1 record. Bejjeh lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the seventh place with 13 games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
