Rather predictable result in Avila where sixth ranked Prat Juventud (11-7) defeated 9th ranked Fontedoso Carrefour (7-10) 78-62 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by Prat Juventud. Fontedoso Carrefour managed to win fourth quarter 21-18. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. It was a great shooting night for Prat Juventud especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 55.6 percentage. Montenegrin forward Marko Todorovic (203-92) fired 13 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Forward Alejandro Barrera (199-92) chipped in 16 points. Four Prat Juventud players scored in double figures. Guinean forward Cheick Sekou Conde (203-92) produced 9 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists and guard Luis Parejo (196-89) added 12 points respectively for lost side. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. The victory was the fourth consecutive win for Prat Juventud. They moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Aurteneche M. Fontedoso Carrefour lost their third game in a row. They keep the ninth position with ten games lost. Prat Juventud will meet at home league's second-placed Ourense in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Fontedoso Carrefour will play against the league's leader River Andorra (#1) and hope to secure a win.
