Important game to mention about took place in Zamora. Tenth ranked Cajarural (8-15) saved a 3-point victory at home edging 9th ranked Arranz-Jopisa Burgos (9-14) 74-71 on Saturday evening. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Arranz-Jopisa Burgos. Arranz-Jopisa Burgos was tied after three quarters but could not keep up in the last quarter eventually losing the game. It was a great evening for American swingman Aja Parham (183-84, college: Boston Coll.) who led her team to a victory scoring 18 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists. Her fellow American import forward Bernice Mosby (186-84, college: Baylor) helped adding 12 points and 6 rebounds. Chilean center Ziomara Morrison (193-89) responded with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 10 rebounds and American forward Rachel Allison (185-87, college: Baylor) produced a double-double by scoring 10 points and 12 rebounds. Four Arranz-Jopisa Burgos players scored in double figures. Newly promoted Cajarural maintains tenth place with 8-15 record. Arranz-Jopisa Burgos at the other side, also newcomer in the league, keeps the ninth position with 14 games lost. Cajarural will face Hondarribia-Irun (#12) on the road in the next round.
