Very predictable result when ninth ranked Bolzano (8-12) edged on the road 14th ranked Borgotaro (4-16) 57-54 on Sunday. The guests trailed by 2 points after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 4-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 57-54. Bolzano forced 20 Borgotaro turnovers. Polish-French center Karolina Piotrkiewicz (190-84, college: Liberty, agency: LBM Management) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 18 rebounds for the winners and guard Elena Zambarda (180-87) chipped in 20 points and 5 rebounds.
