Very important is a loss of third ranked Yulon Luxgen (11-7) against fifth ranked Taiwan Mobile (7-10) on Sunday night. Yulon Luxgen was defeated by Taiwan Mobile 71-58. The game without a history. Taiwan Mobile led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Taiwan Mobile outrebounded Yulon Luxgen 48-35 including 17 on the offensive glass. The winners were led by Canadian power forward Ryan Wright (206-87, college: Oklahoma) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 23 points and 11 rebounds and international point guard Yi-Chieh Su (181-87) supported him with 13 points, 5 rebounds and 8 assists. Even 9 points and 13 rebounds by American forward Kevin Johnson (201-84, college: Humboldt St.) did not help to save the game for Yulon Luxgen. The former international forward Cheng-Ju Lu (194-86) added 12 points for Taiwan Mobile. Yulon Luxgen's coach Xue-Lei Zhang tested ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Taiwan Mobile maintains fifth position with 7-10 record. Yulon Luxgen at the other side dropped to the second place with seven games lost. They share the position with Dacin Tigers. Taiwan Mobile will play against higher ranked Taiwan Beer (#4) in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Yulon Luxgen will play against the league's leader Pure Youth and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
