Bottom-ranked Liffey Celtics managed to get a second victory, breaking the series of fourteen consecutive loses. This time newly promoted Liffey Celtics won against eighth-ranked Singleton in Brunell 62-56. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Singleton. Strangely Singleton outrebounded Liffey Celtics 43-31 including a 33-19 advantage in defensive rebounds. They brought some defensive toughness making 11 blocks. The best player for the winners was Aine O'Connor who had a double-double by scoring 20 points and 11 rebounds. Karen Mealey chipped in 21 points. Amy Waters produced a double-double by scoring 16 points and 15 rebounds and Megan O'Leary added 14 points and 9 rebounds respectively for the hosts. Liffey Celtics (2-16) moved-up to ninth place, which they share with Oblate Dynamos. Singleton at the other side, also newcomer in the league, keeps the eighth position with 13 games lost.
