Top ranked Hamamatsu Phoenix (24-13) recorded its thirteenth loss in Mikawa on Sunday night. Hosts were defeated by third ranked Kyoto Hannar. (24-12) 98-87. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Hamamatsu Phoenix. The game was mostly controlled by Kyoto Hannar.. Hamamatsu Phoenix managed to win second period 19-18. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening.
