Another interesting game for Maccabi Ashdod (8-9) which played in Rishon Le-Zion against 4th placed Maccabi Rishon (10-7). Seventh ranked Maccabi Ashdod had an easy win 80-69. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Maccabi Rishon. Maccabi Rishon was ahead by 1 point at the halftime before a 50-38 second half run of Maccabi Ashdod. Maccabi Rishon at the other side keeps the fourth position with seven games lost. Maccabi Ashdod will play against B.C. Habikaa (#8) at home in the next round. Maccabi Rishon will play against the league's leader Maccabi T-A (#1) having rather not much hope for a victory.
