Everything went according to plan in Sesto S.Giovanni where eighth ranked Bracco Geas (8-11) outscored bottom-ranked Cagliari CUS (3-16) 66-43 on Sunday. The game without a history. Bracco Geas led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Bracco Geas forced 31 Cagliari CUS turnovers. It was a great evening for international swingman Martina Crippa (175-88) who led her team to a victory scoring 14 points and 6 rebounds. The former international guard Ilaria Zanoni (180-86) helped adding 11 points and 7 rebounds. Bracco Geas will face higher ranked Basket Parma (#6) at home in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
