Seventeenth-ranked Novipiu CM (5-17) gave a tough game to thirteenth ranked Benetton Treviso (9-12). Benetton Treviso managed to secure only three-point victory 66-63. However their fans expected much easier game. Novipiu CM was ahead by 3 points after three quarters before a 16-10 charge of Benetton Treviso, which allowed them to win the game. Austrian power forward Benjamin Ortner (206-83, college: Metro St.) orchestrated the victory by scoring 14 points and 7 rebounds. Israeli-Polish point guard Gal Mekel (192-88, college: Wichita St.) contributed with 11 points and 5 assists for the winners. Serbian power forward Oliver Stevic (204-84, agency: Beo Basket) answered with 11 points and 9 rebounds and American swingman Ricky Minard (196-82, college: Morehead St.) added 12 points and 5 assists in the effort for Novipiu CM. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Benetton Treviso maintains thirteenth place with 9-12 record. Novipiu CM lost fourth consecutive game. Newly promoted team stay at the bottom position with 17 games lost.
