Seventeenth-ranked Novipiu CM (5-17) gave a tough game to thirteenth ranked Benetton Treviso (9-12). Benetton Treviso managed to secure only three-point victory 66-63. However their fans expected much easier game. Novipiu CM was ahead by 3 points after three quarters before a 16-10 charge of Benetton Treviso, which allowed them to win the game.
