Leader Tartu Ulikool delivered the twentiethth victory. This time they crushed 7th ranked KK Parnu (3-21) 122-72. The game without a history. Tartu Ulikool led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to KK Parnu's 38. Tartu Ulikool forced 20 KK Parnu turnovers and outrebounded them 37-22 including 23 on the defensive glass. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 24 assists comparing to just 11 passes made by KK Parnu's players. It was a good game for international guard Kristo Saage (184-85) who led his team to a victory with 37 points (!!!) and 4 steals. International forward Tanel Kurbas (197-88) contributed with 17 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. Four Tartu Ulikool players scored in double figures. Tartu Ulikool's coach Gert Kullamae felt very confident that he used 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Center Toomas Raadik (202-90) replied with 18 points and swingman Elgar Tamsalu (184-87) added 17 points in the effort for KK Parnu. Tartu Ulikool (20-2) have an impressive six-game winning streak. They maintain first position. KK Parnu lost seventh consecutive game. They keep the seventh place with 21 games lost. They share the position with Valga. Tartu Ulikool will play against BC Rakvere (#3) on the road in the next round, which may be the game of the day. KK Parnu will play against BC Rakvere (#3) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
