Regular Season Round 24: Ros Casares - Rivas Ecopolis 81-60

The game had a very big importance for third-ranked Ros Casares as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Ros Casares smashed 6th ranked Rivas Ecopolis in Valencia 81-60. The game without a history. Ros Casares led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Worth to mention a great performance of forward Maya Moore (182-89, college: Connecticut) who helped to win the game recording 16 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists and Belgian center Ann Wauters (194-80, agency: Josep and Nicolas) who added 16 points and 6 rebounds during the contest. Five Ros Casares players scored in double figures. Ros Casares' coach Roberto Iniguez felt very confident using 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The best for the losing side was forward Asjha Jones (188-80, college: Connecticut) with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 11 rebounds and Serbian forward Tijana Krivacevic (194-90) scored 12 points. Ros Casares (23-0) have an impressive 23-game winning streak. As mentioned above they are alone now at the top position. Rivas Ecopolis at the other side dropped to the fourth place with eight games lost. Just two games before the end of Regular Season and it may be the most important game of the season next round when Rivas Ecopolis faces Real Celta Vigo trying to get back on the winning streak. Ros Casares will try to continue on its current victory against seventh ranked Gran Canaria in Las Palmas.
